Pediatric/Psychiatry/Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program

The University of Hawaii Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry jointly offer this accredited five-year program leading to board certification in pediatrics, general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

This triple-board program provides an integrated curriculum of clinical and didactic instruction with increasing responsibilities over the five years in patient care and teaching. The program includes 24 months of pediatrics, 18 months of general psychiatry and 18 months of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Graduates of this program will be equipped for clinical work and/or academic careers, which address the physical health of children and adolescents and the spectrum of mental and emotional disorders in children adolescents and adults.
